Namibia–Nigeria Preview: The Brave Warriors hope to dent the shine of the Super Eagles
The Warriors will be playing with a lot of belief having held the Super Eagles for 80 minutes in their last encounter and with confidence from their draw against Malawi
There's an intriguing matchup at the U21's today with Spain taking on the Netherlands (van Ginkel!). Unfortunately with both nations already qualified for the knockout round, this may lack the intensity it would normally have. That being said, it is a bit of a preview for the eventual final I'd guess.
The other match will be Russia vs. Germany and with both team already eliminated, this will lack even more intensity. Yey! Both matches kick off in 30 minutes, at 12:00 P.M. EDT.
The one match that may actually mean something today will be Namibia vs. Nigeria at 3:00 P.M. EDT. Unfortunately I do not have any TV information for it at this time, but with Nigeria still not assured of progressing to the next round of the African section of 2014 World Cup qualifying, this one might be good. Plus, both Kenneth Omeruo and John Obi Mikel are likely to start although Victor Moses misses out yet again with a continuing and nagging muscle strain.
There's also a friendly between Ghana and the Ivory Coast (12:00 P.M. EDT), but no Chelsea players are expected to feature for either team, which just sounds super weird.
